Rowan Vincent
Towards the center of the ironclad hall that Lamia Scale called home sat a well dressed man. His suit was recently cleaned, his hair properly kept, and his gaze as calm as it was observant. A cigarette lay smoldering in between his fingers, but he hesistated to bring it to his lips. Rowan's mind was deep in thought for the moment. Not about anything particularly important to most, but rather it was about the meal he was eating. He had managed to snag a beef stew from the kitchen prior to taking his seat. As he had taken the first few spoonfuls he had found himself overcome with flavor. The dish reminded him quite a bit of past memories, and that is what held him in contemplation.

When the ashes from his cigarette fell onto the table, Rowan managed to free himself from his reverie and remember himself. He took one final drag before tossing the nearly spent cigarette into the rough, iron ash tray on the table. Returning to his stew, the man took many more spoonfuls before he placed his utensil down again. Even after so much he was hardly halfway through the stew. Yet, he found himself content with that. The food was delicious, and he wasn't quite ready to part with it. Returning his gaze to the hall he found himself looking about for faces he had not yet met, and those he had had the pleasure of encountering before. No meal was quite complete without company.

Assama gleamed with delight as she saw the guild hall coming into view. She had only been gone for a little over a month and she had already grown homesick. She looked at the vintage buildings that framed the streets which were lined with greenery and littered with moss. Assama found this town a bit strange when she first came to it, but now she couldn't imagine herself living anywhere else.

The Lamia approached the guild hall and with boundless excitement, entered. She saw guildmates chatting casually at the bar. Others were drinking. Some were reading, and then she saw a familiar blonde haired man sitting at a table eating soup, alone. Assama decided that she would go ahead and talk with him. She sat down and crossed her legs under the able. "Rowan," she began, still elated from being back home. "You're back too, huh? How was the rest of Crocus?"

Luna Nightshade
Luna sat in a corner of the Lamia Scale guild hall. She had a small pile of books resting on the table that she had brought from her home on the other side of town. Across from her, on the other side of the room, sat a tall, well-dressed blonde haired man and a woman with bright pink hair.

However, the two were of no concern to her, she was much more focused on her pile of books. The one she was currently reading, was an old town history book. This town's history was of some interest to Luna. After all, she had lived the majority of her life in Era, only coming to this town when she was 17. Luna still felt out of place and yet, at the same time, she felt at home here.

From time to time, she wondered how her father and baby sister were doing back home. Despite that, she had no intentions to go back anytime soon. After all, she had run away because of what happened after her little sister's birth. She blamed her sister for the death of their mother at the time it happened.

Now, in the present, those thoughts had mostly gone away. She continued to flip page after page. Suddenly, Luna felt her hunger call to her. It was already mid afternoon and she hadn't eaten at all today. So, she set down her book, stood up, and walked over in the direction of the kitchen. Hopefully she could find something in there to eat.

Atlas Prime
Atlas looked around and noticed how late it was getting. He had been out for a run to exercise his body and decided that was enough. He decided to finish his run by running back to the guild hall. When he finally saw it in view he sprinted to it, using the last bit of solid energy he could muster at the point.

When Atlas entered everyone could see him wearing a set of black running shorts and a black t-shirt. He was panting a little and went over to the counter to grab some water. Atlas was looking around the hall on his and not paying attention when he accidentally ran into that seemed to be on her way to the kitchen (aka Luna). Atlas quickly tried to fix the situation by apologizing. "Oh crap. Sorry about that. I wasn't paying attention." Atlas would say trying to possibly help her.

Rowan Vincent
The blonde ran a hand through his hair with a long sigh as a few thoughts came to mind about finances he had yet to cover. It would take some balancing of his checkbook over the next few days to ensure he wouldn't be sleeping in the guild hall for the foreseeable future. His mind was clouded enough by the dour thoughts that he almost missed the approach of his company. Standing up suddenly he offered a polite smile. "Good day, Assama. It's been a while since we were last in each other's company." As his oddly colored friend took a seat at his table Rowan returned to his own. "Crocus did not pan out as I thought it might. Too few friends from my days as a youth in the city remained there, though I suppose I cannot blame them." He answered. "What of yourself, Assama?" He asked. "Did Crocus provide well for you after we parted ways?"

Taking his spoon up again, Rowan took another few tastes of his beef stew. In between his conversation he took a few fleeting glances around the hall, taking notice of two strangers he had not seen around in his few days here prior. One, a black haired young woman, and the other a rather tall young man. He wondered what they were doing in the hall, but did not linger long on the thought as he focused on the conversation.

Polite as ever, Rowan said 'good day' to Assama along with his eloquent syntax that never seemed to fall short of either borderline casual or formal. When Assama asked him about Crocus, Rowan replied saying that he was not able to meet as many people as he was hoping. "Bummer," Assama said with a slight frown. She knew that she would have hated it if she were to return to Myras to see that some of her friends had gone as well. He then asked her how Crocus was for her. "Well, I did get to meet a few new people and I got some jobs done while I was there as well, so it literally did provide 'well' for me," she answered. Assama noticed that while they were having a conversation, Rowan often glanced off to different parts of the guild hall. He seemed to stare in one general direction for a longer period of time than he did the rest. Assama turned to see what he was looking at and saw a tall brown haired man accompanied by a shorter, dark haired girl. She had never seen them before and, well, she wanted to know everyone in the guild, so she decided to invite them over to at least say 'hi.' Besides, they didn't look too caught up in their conversation. "Hey, you two!" Assama called in their general direction. Once at least one of them looked over, she would beckon for them to join her and Rowan. As she liked to say, 'the more the merrier.'

As Luna headed towards the kitchen, she suddenly was bumped into by someone, almost loosing her balance in the process. However, she quickly recovered it. The person she had bumped into, apologized for not paying attention.

Luna simply nodded. "Its fine, I can be like that sometimes too. No harm done." She said smiling at the man.

Luna was about to continue on her way, until someone called out to the both of them. It was the bright pink haired woman sitting with the blonde haired man she saw before. Luna looked at both of them, wondering why the lady called out to her and brown haired man.

She decided to walk over there, and at least offer a greeting. "Hello there." was all Luna said along with a courteous nod of her head.

She other far end of the corning with a cup of green sencha tea in her hand. She was wearing a dark purple kimono but rather had her hair up in a bun decorating it with violetts. Her head pointed to the direction to mage who then walked in. She nodded timidly confused and nervous how to say hello. She herself didn#t catch the attention of the others eventhough her appearance is could be known as an eyesore in the Guild. With a another sip of the hot tea she let out a refined sigh totally pleased of the taste.

Atlas was glad the girl was not mad at him. She seemed to regain her balance quickly from his bump and before he could say more a girl called over to the both of them. The girl looked up and Atlas looked as well. Atlas looked at the pink hair girl and recognized her from the guild but didn't really know her, same goes for the blonde haired man sitting next to her. The girl he bumped into walked over there and Atlas thought it could be a good idea to meet other members of his guild. Atlas decided to walk over behind, Luna, whose name he did not know yet. "Oh, hello. I'm Atlas," he said. While he said that he looked around and saw a familiar face. "Oh, one moment. I'll be right back," he said heading towards Miyu. When he got to her he would talk to her. "Hey Miyu. I was just meeting a couple other members from the guild. Want to come over and say hello to them too?" he would ask her looking back at the others.

Rowan Vincent
Rowan stood once more as further company approached. He dipped his upper body into a sort of half bow, and gestured towards the open seats at the table. An ever polite smile rested on his lips. He had been glad to find out that Assama shared his interest in meeting new people, and he would be lying if he did not admit that these fellow guild members had peaked his interest. As he unbent from his gallant posture he spoke. "A fine welcome to you all. Please, sit and join us for some food and drink if you wouldn't mind the company of a few friends." He moved around the table and pulled out the remaining chairs before taking his own.

"Now then, if I may be so forward, what might you all call yourselves?" The blonde inquired with a raised eyebrow and a smile. "To retain a manner so as not to be uncouth, allow me to introduce myself first. I am Rowan Vincent, explorer, treasure hunter, and gentleman, at your service." He picked up his spoon that had been resting in his stew and took a few more mouthfuls of the delicious meal before it was finished. With a practiced hand he removed the now empty bowl from the table and placed it on an empty one nearby while reminding himself not to forget to wash it later.

Much to Assama's delight, it seemed like her attempt to meet the two members unknown to her had worked. The navy haired girl came over and simply said 'hello' to everyone. The brown haired man followed suit but soon excused himself to talk to a girl with long violet hair. Meanwhile, Rowan went ahead and introduced himself, formal as ever. "And I'm Assama," she added, finding it unnecessary to add all the titles Rowan did for himself. She didn't even find that a surname was needed to be given either. Just 'Assama' was simple enough, for now at least.

Luna listened to the others give their names. "I'm Luna, Luna Nightshade." When Rowan, offered her and Atlas to join him and Assama, Luna shook her head. "I'm afraid I must decline. Maybe some other time. It was nice to meet all of you." She said bowing her head to everyone. Luna had an errand to run in the market streets, so she had to leave. She could always cook up something when she got home later. With that, Luna left the guild hall.

Her head perked up by the Voice of someone familiar. Looking in the direction it came , a smile played along her lips. "Hello Atlas..." She listend to his inventation then looked to the blonde haired man and the pink haired Woman. She just gave her usual mesmerizing stare while looking up to atlas. "I would love to join ... but I don't know if i would be a nusance to the others .. I have .. difficulties with communication.." she explained to the brown haired guy. Then she let herself sink once again in her thoughts. She was insecure not knowing what do to. It would be very good to know each other to strengthen the bond of the guild which is far from negative. She remembered though feeling little like the eyesore of Lamia for her overall appearance and personality. She sighed wanting to lay her head slightly tilted on her hand.

When Atlas approached Miyu she greeted him which made him happy. When he looked back at the group he noticed the girl he had bumped into suddenly leave. He wasn't sure why not and felt a little bad as if it was his fault she took off. Miyu said to Atlas that she would like to join, but she had difficulty communicating with others. "I'm sure it will be fine. I'm sure they will not judge you for that. A lot of people have a hard time talking to others until they get used to it, like us," he said smiling at her. Miyu didn't seem like she had a hard time talking with Atlas and he hoped she would start that with others. "So, what do you say, want to meet some others?" he asked her. If Miyu said yes he would then walk over to the others with her.

Rowan felt a twinge of remorse that one of their new company had to leave so quickly, but was distracted almost immediately by the presence of the others. He was left without anything to say as he watched two others debate on the necessity of speaking to himself and Assama. He found the notion a bit odd, but put the notions behind him in favor of continuing his conversation with his already known friend. "So you say you've finished work in Crocus, Assama? I must congratulate your actions." He hoped that would be enough to kick start the flow of conversation once more. Now that he was surrounded by other people of a like mindset as himself he couldn't help but be interested in them and all manner of things they had to say. The blonde could only wonder what the other two members might reveal about themselves in time. Their actions had made them very interesting to Rowan indeed.

The violet haired girl and the brown haired man were still talking with one another. Luna had unfortunately left, which left Rowan and Assama alone once more. Assama gave a slight frown. She was really looking forward to meeting the rest of the guild members, but it seemed like now wasn't the right time for that. Rowan, however, decided to keep their conversation going by commenting on her good work in Crocus, referring back to their start of the conversation. "Oh, thanks," she replied with a smile. "But I have to say, there weren't many jobs like capturing bandits and whatnot. They were quicker, like rescuing a cat from a tree. How about you? Did you do any jobs?" She had yet to do any jobs in Orchidia, but was planning on doing quite a few ones, probably similar to the ones she did in Crocus that would slowly grow into jobs of a more difficult nature.

Looking over to the blonde haired man and the pink hair girl she just nodded to atlas. She stood up but hid herself timidly behind Atlas. You can see how the elegant lady peered gently over him while she jumped back in her comforting hiding spot behind Him like he was her older brother.

Being close enough to the other members she gathered her courage to then stand in front of the others. Her eyes seemed at first cold and distant while showing off her pokerface. Her fragile hand held the fabric of the dress slightly lifting it while she did a curtsey. "Good evening..." she said in a soft and somber voice before she let a soft smile appear on her face.

Atlas was glad that Miyu seemed to overcome her shyness to at least meet more members of the guild. When you started to walk back over Miyu seemed to hide herself behind him like he was a shield for her. Atlas didn't mind at the moment but hoped when they arrived at the others she would come out and talk.

When Atlas got there Miyu did seemed to come out from behind his back. She greeted them both. "Well, sorry about that guys. Was just grabbing her. This Miyu," he said indicating her ,"and once again I'm Atlas. Was there a reason the other girl took off?" he asked them wondering still if he was at fault for it.

I am really sorry about this guys," he said, starting to walk away. He then turned back to them. "Hope I can meet each of you again, and try to be nice to Miyu," he said with a smile then turned around and ran out of the guild.

Rowan didn't reply, but the violet hair girl did come out and say "good evening" to them in a soft voice. "Hello," Assama said back to her in a friendly tone. Atlas then proceeded to introduce her as Miyu. He asked if there was a reason the other girl, Luna, left. Assama shrugged. "She didn't give any reason." Shortly after she said that, Atlas said that he had something to do. Miyu seemed to want to leave to. That left Assama and Rowan. "Well..." Assama began. "I think I'll go too now. It was nice seeing you." Assama got up from her seat at the table and exited the guild hall.
